Del Través already had a shop in EL RAVAL, in the old town of Barcelona. From 2007 to 2011, in Calle Lluna, 13, wich means 13, Moon street. I liked the place, the adress and also the location; A small corner with huge windows, two levels, and a fancy shape, anything but regular. Mario from Nipiu made beautifull windows, door and stairs in iron.
The place was just perfect as a boutique-atelier.
Del Través growed its roots in this location, we arrived to many wonderfull costumers, and also made many new friends.
We wanted to contribute in some way with the quartier and promote cultural exchanges, so we coordinated with other artists in the streets sorrounding a festival called «Lluna Vivent»…living moon . Here you can see a report if you like (in catalan!): tvciutatvella
After that time, the project grew up and felt like moving to a wider atelier, being more free to travel from there to other places, not being always in Barcelona. And that’s why we moved to poblenou, the present workshop.
